I’m Michele, the designer behind Petals & Posies.
I’m self-taught, which means I didn’t learn floral design by memorizing recipes or counting stems. I learned by paying attention—to color, movement, texture, proportion, and that slightly mysterious moment when an arrangement suddenly feels finished.
My approach is simple: I don’t want to make the same arrangement over and over again.
I want to know a little about who it’s for. I want to find beautiful flowers. And then I want the freedom to create something that feels like it belongs to that particular person and that particular moment.
Every arrangement gets to become its own thing.
Sometimes that means romantic and restrained. Sometimes it’s wild and unexpected. Sometimes the flower I wasn’t planning to use becomes the entire reason the arrangement works.
That’s the fun of it.
Petals & Posies grew from a love of flowers into a private floral studio built around one idea:
